Photographed from a low vantage point, the five matriarchs stand as a unified force, their immense bodies forming an unbroken horizon. In their stance, there is no hierarchy, only communion. The choice of monochromatic tones removes distraction; colour is unnecessary when strength is so self-evident. The silent architecture of their sisterhood speaks in texture and line, in the way the light falls over their weathered skin. No proclamation is needed. In the quiet, deliberate framing, they rise together — a monument to collective endurance, a silent hymn to what women have always carried: one another.
